What are you going to do:
In this role, you'll ensure that E&I projects are technically well-prepared and executed in a manageable manner. You'll work closely with your teammates. The content is technical and precise, and your preparation directly contributes to safe and efficient outdoor execution.
The projects are within the offshore and energy sectors and require careful coordination between design, implementation, and regulations. Your role gives you continuous insight into technical details, schedules, and progress. You'll realize that your work determines the quality and reliability of the final result.
- You assess customer requests, make calculations and identify project risks.
- You prepare purchasing overviews for materials and services
- You develop project plans, work packages and work instructions
- You guide technicians during implementation and provide support with scope changes and technical questions.
- You monitor progress and keep an overview of ongoing work
- You take care of the project administration and report to the Project Manager E&I

What does your workday look like?
Your workday starts with reviewing emails, progress reports, and notifications from offshore or suppliers. Based on this, you'll coordinate with fellow engineers and the project manager to define priorities and identify technical focus points.
The focus throughout the day is on developing and reviewing E&I documentation, including schematics, cable calculations, and datasheets. Regular consultations with suppliers and clients take place to explain technical choices and carefully document changes. Reviews and checks are performed throughout the day to ensure the design complies with standards, customer specifications, and offshore guidelines.
The dynamics are primarily driven by schedule changes, client feedback, or offshore inquiries that require immediate coordination. At the end of the day, you'll address action items and document outstanding issues, allowing you to start the next workday with a clear overview.
