Vacancy

Location Foreman Mechanical (On-/Offshore)

What are you going to do:

As a Location Foreman, you'll manage mechanical work on-site, both onshore and offshore. You'll be the team's primary point of contact and ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll have a clear understanding of the scope and continuously monitor progress and quality during implementation.

You'll work closely with the project manager and maintain contact with supervisors and clients on-site. Your overview and experience allow you to adapt quickly to changing situations. This requires technical expertise, decisiveness, and clear communication.

  • You combine executive tasks with management of mechanical activities
  • You coordinate demolition, installation and maintenance projects
  • You manage executive teams and distribute tasks
  • You monitor safety, quality and progress on location
  • You respond to unexpected situations and make adjustments where necessary

What does your workday look like?

A workday as an Offshore Location Foreman begins with a joint toolbox meeting on the platform. Here, the planned work, safety instructions, and operational considerations are discussed. Afterward, the necessary work permits are issued.

You will then guide the implementation teams to their workstations. Each team will receive a supplementary toolbox to discuss the specific tasks, risks, and measures to be taken. Throughout the day, you will monitor progress, supervise implementation, and make adjustments as needed. Depending on the scope of the project and the team composition, you will also participate in the implementation.

In addition to daily management, you'll prepare for future work. You'll create work orders, inventory required materials, and coordinate staffing. In the afternoon, you'll apply for work permits for the following day and update the daily reports to ensure everything remains current and traceable.

At the end of the workday, there's a communal meal and free time on board. The offshore rotation consists of two weeks of work followed by two weeks of leave. This rhythm ensures clarity and a healthy work-life balance.
