What are you going to do:
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the full execution of technical projects from assignment to delivery. You are the primary point of contact for the client and ensure effective coordination between clients, the project team, and the various disciplines within SEW.
What does your workday look like?
You start the day by reviewing the progress of ongoing projects and aligning the schedule with the project team. Throughout the day, you work on ongoing projects, maintain contact with the client, and support and coach the project team. You assess technical and organizational issues, monitor project progress, and make decisions when the situation requires it. Additionally, you oversee budgets, safety, and quality, and ensure that deviations are addressed in a timely manner. At the end of the day, you update the project administration, inform involved parties about the progress, and prepare the work for the next project phase.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Leading the project team and managing on-site supervisors.
- Drafting and monitoring project schedules, progress reports, and project procedures.
- Conducting risk analyses and determining project-specific requirements.
- Drafting, following up on, and evaluating quotations and variations and additional work.
- Organizing and coordinating procurement, inspections, execution activities, and project meetings.
- Monitoring project costs, handling invoicing, and compiling the construction file.
- Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and inspection authorities.
- Conducting progress reviews and identifying training and development needs within the project team.
