Several years of experience in preparing and supervising technical projects.

Project Leader (Mechanical)

What are you going to do

As a Project Leader, you are responsible for the preparation, execution, delivery, and administrative completion of assigned projects. You monitor progress regarding safety, quality, schedule, and budget, and serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the execution phase. You collaborate closely with Project Engineers, execution, procurement, HSEQ, and other involved disciplines. During the project, you coordinate progress with the Project Manager and identify deviations or risks that impact execution. You ensure that work is carried out according to schedule and the agreed quality requirements.

What does your workday look like?

The workday begins with assessing current project progress and coordinating the schedule with the relevant colleagues. You maintain contact with clients, suppliers, and execution teams to ensure that work can be carried out according to schedule.

Throughout the day, you update project documentation, assess quotations, coordinate purchasing activities, and monitor the progress of ongoing work. When deviations or risks arise, you analyze the situation and discuss the next steps with the Project Manager.

You regularly participate in project meetings where safety, quality, planning, and costs are discussed. At the end of the workday, you update the project administration, record agreements made, and prepare the work for the next project phase.

Your duties include, among other things:

  • Independently prepare, execute, deliver, and administratively complete projects.
  • Drafting and managing project schedules, work packages, and project documentation.
  • Coordinating the procurement of materials and services and monitoring delivery times.
  • Organizing and leading project meetings regarding safety, quality, planning, costs, and progress.
  • Monitoring and handling variations and reporting project costs.
  • Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and inspection authorities.

  • If you apply directly (without the intervention of an agency/recruiter) and if the agreed trial period is successfully completed, you will receive €500 net after successfully completing this trial period.
